In his childhood, Vi often visited his grandparents who moved to Loveland in 1956.
There was always music being played in the Wickam household. Vi grew up playing the fiddle in the Wickam family band, with his father, grandfather, and two brothers, Aaron and Adam.
The Wickam family even played as the regular band on Blinky's Fun Club. Longtime Loveland residents may also remember Vi’s grandfather (also Vi Wickam) as their shop teacher at Loveland High School.
